What an amazing weekend I had with the Jaime family.  Not only did I have the privilege of taking some images of this beautiful family, I also got to spend time with them and really get to know them.  Its a perk of this job, and one that I don't take for granted.  

For this session we really wanted to capture the time of season, Fall in San Diego...not easy to do in the city of sunshine and palm trees.  Fortunately we  located a quiet little spot in Jamul and created these wonderful images.  

Christian Ryan, a name to remember.  Young man is growing up to be quite the pitcher, and I had the privilege to capture a few images with him.  So I picked him up and took him down to the fields for a nice shoot.  I packed the car with some travelites and shot away.  The more we shot, the more comfortable he felt on the mound.  unfortunately our shoot was cut short by the gusts of wind that took down my travelites.  The umbrella couldn't take the hit...

Can't believe my boys are growing up so quick!  So I decided to create some fall memories with them while they are still young.  I packed the car with a scarecrow, a haystack and a beautiful blanket (courtesy of some great friends).  We found a nice spot to relax, and I let them have a good time while I sat back and enjoyed...capturing some moments of course!

Had to the pleasure of hanging out with Alyce and Edel this weekend for a beautiful family/ maternity photo session.  They are such a wonderful couple and have the most beautiful child, Lila.  Can't wait to see the new addition!

We found a nice spot close by and set up camp.  The shoot went flawlessly.  Alyce was super prepared with everything from Sprinkles cupcakes and chocolate milk to tents and pillows.

Marti is someone I can’t help but think of as family.  I only met her for a consultation just a few days prior to the shoot.  However, her warm and welcoming personality just can’t be denied.  

We started with a few simple head shots to warm her up to the camera.  After only a few shots, it was all fun, laughs, and some good salsa music.  We followed with a mini-family portrait session which included her hubby, children and her two awesome dogs.  

Final outcome?  Images that show her personality.

Moona and Levi's favorite place was the setting for this session, beautiful La Jolla, CA.  It was the setting for one of my favorite images that I've ever taken.

Not only did we get to take great images, we got to hang out with an amazing couple awaiting their first child, Eden Belle.  What a beautiful name.  

Levi turned out to be quite the tour guide.
